Review:
After the groovy, downhome, soul filled Let’s Make a Deal album (1978), the company evidently pushed for a more commercial sound with this LP, The Mark of Z.Z.
Every piece of music that contains the gruffy, raw voice of Z.Z. Hill is worth your time and money, but this album is not as gripping to me as his earlier efforts. In short, there’s way too much disco, way too much production and way too many synths here. It’s the ballads that redeem most of this record.

Agree with the reviewers statement "Every piece of music that contains the gruffy, raw voice of Z.Z. Hill is worth your time and money" so looking forward to hearing this one. Thanks JP!
