Dusty Groove said: a rare set of funky soul & r&b instrumentals from the mighty Majestics — perhaps Canada’s funkiest combo of the era! On this set the crew rolls between blistering funk and a southern soul groove — all of it strong! Guest vocalist Jackie Gabriel vamps it up on «It Should Have Been Me» and the funky reading of «I Got You Babe» — but this is mostly a tight instrumental affair, with some smoking drives through the 60s soul songbook! Another rare gem from Arc Records! Tracks include the oft-sampled «Here Come Da Judge», «Soul Serenade», «Do Your Own Thing», «Mr.Pitiful», «The Horse», «Tell Mama», «Tighten Up» and «Dock Of The Bay».
