Review:
Originally scheduled for release on the famed Chess label, this album was scrapped in the early 70’s because it was deemed to trippy for Chess’ reputation. Muddy Waters and Donny Hathaway appear as session usicians on this psychadelic funk/soul offering. Fugi wrote the classic soul ballad”I’d Rather Go Blind,” the original version of which appears for the first time.

*Original recording on Chess Records, 1968.
