Review:
Before Alma Faye Brooks, before Voggue Canadian producers/musicians Michel Daigle and Dominic Sciscente created The Black Light Orchestra. B.L.O. was a studio group of musicians, many of whom appeared on the duos later productions.
B.L.O. had several albums 1977’s “Once Upon A Time” and 1979’s “This Time” were their most successful. Both albums were mainly instrumental outings. All vocals were done by fellow Canadian Patrick Norman. Norman still has a successful recording career in Canada, recording for Unidisc as an easy listening artist.
The group had it’s biggest success with the 12″ single “Touch Me, Take Me” in 1977. Several more 12″ singles followed: “Let’s Try Once Again” and “Loving You.”
