Yes, Ian Rose is new to me. Thanks for sharing!

This is a groove centered album. The trademark of the album is the steady groove. A bit of sameness maybe, but very enjoyable. The added percussion fits nicely in the soundscape.

Eddie Roberts was also a nice surprise. A very good guitarist.

About the recording in itself: The organ sound is unfortunately captured rather thin in the mid and upper register, but the bass comes through without any problem.

The best track in my opinion is Boogie On Reggae Woman.
