Thank You WordPress!

The hosting site service Wordpress.com has today shut-off the My Favourite Sound© blog.
It seems that other blogs had the same situation.
Due to conversion problems, we now are unabled to return on Blogspot with the old 2.051 (!) posts.

If anyone have a rapid solution, please send us (myfavouritesound@yahoo.com.br) a drop.
Thanks in advance.

Anyway, MFS© will never died.
We starting up tomorrow with new posts here.
We return back to 0 (zero).
Ain't no stoppin' us now...it takes a million to hold us back.

The alive & well MFS© Equipe.

Ah...we forgot to give a great THANK to WP for blocking our blog.
It was a great action, WP!

Comment:
Founded in 1956 as a jazz-focused offshoot of the famed Chess label, Chicago’s Argo Records (renamed Cadet in 1965) amassed an impressive stable of talent including Ramsey Lewis, Ahmad Jamal, James Moody, Illinois Jacquet, Max Roach, Lou Donaldson and even Benny Goodman — favoring a bop-oriented approach deeply influenced by Windy City soul, in its time the Argo aesthetic proved a little too slick and commercial for jazz purists, but today the company’s output is justly celebrated for its commitment to the groove. The Heatin’ System compiles ten tracks from Argo/Cadet’s mid-’60s zenith, and aficionados of acid jazz and funk will find much to savor here — highlighted by Jack McDuff’s blistering title cut, the set also includes sublime entries from Baby Face Willette (”Mo’ Rock”), Sahib Shihab (”Please Don’t Leave Me”) and Marlena Shaw (”Liberation Conversation”).

The
Cobblestone Records Blog!
Please check.

http://stonesofcobble.blogspot.com/

History
Cobblestone Records was founded by Joe Fields in 1972 in New York City, and was a subsidiary label to Buddah Records. Much of what was issued on the label was produced by Don Schlitten. Among the label's releases was a six-album issue of recordings from the Newport Jazz Festival New York of 1972. The label also released previously unissued recordings from Grant Green with Big John Patton.
In a move reflecting an active era of independent record labels, Fields went on to form Muse Records, essentially an extension of Cobblestone's approach, with Schlitten producing the initial majority of the output. Later producers included Michael Cuscuna and Fred Seibert. Some of the label's material was later transferred to Muse Records and 32 Jazz.
