B4 Chance To Dance (7:45)
Credits & Notes:
Producer – Jeff Lane
Format: Vinyl, LP
Country: US
Released: 1979
Review:
Third and final LP from Aquarian Dream, which shows a move away from the classy jazz-funk of the previous two acclaimed albums, and towards formulaic disco, with some funk and ballads thrown in.
The result is that this is the weakest album of the three, it lacked something that was needed to make the songs great.
The first track has lyrics (”Disco juice, juice, juice, sipping it through a straw, disco juice, juice, juice, oo-ooh”) – which was silly, but not silly enough to make it good, if you see what I mean.
