Review:
Although Khan Jamal is an advanced improviser, the sound of his vibes always gives his music a somewhat mellow and accessible air, even when he is at his most adventurous. This Stash LP (three of the five selections have been reissued on the CD Don't Take No) matches Jamal with altoist Byard Lancaster (doubling on flute), a Philadelphia-based rhythm section and, on "Infinity" (which dates from 1984), a group that includes Clifton Burton on harmonica and the legendary free drummer Sunny Murray. Jamal contributed four of the five songs, while pianist Bernard Sammul brought in a cooking "The Angry Young Man." Excellent and generally overlooked music.

Hi Pier and all at MFS...
This, for me is an album that i bought for two tracks...
Track 1 Nubian Queen
and Track 4 The Known Unknown.
Give it a try and I hope you like it!
Tracks 1,3,4,5 recorded Dec 1982 .
Track 2 recorded Mar 84.
This is from a "dodgey" possible bootleg CD I got from ebay.
All the best,
Bill
Note:
The link is named ''Intensity'' but contains the ''Infinity'' LP...it's for the sheriffs....
